So it's been another good while since my last actual life update. There's a good reason for that: stagnancy.
Everything is still pretty much stagnant for the most part. I go to work, I do one of two things: play Destiny, or watch TV. After a brief stint doing either of the two it's beddy-bye time so I can pass out, wake up and do the same thing over again. I'm a creature of habit, and I live by my rituals, so I'm not exactly complaining. Sure, I'm in dire fucking need of a holiday right about now, but I'm still enjoying my time until our next big trip.
Seattle. So we've decided upon Seattle. After the last time I researched Seattle, and more or less, what to do there we've been pretty jazzed about the trip. They have a City Pass that'll let us see a bunch of tourist attractions for a flat price. Also, and this really stuns me, David wants to see the forest just as much as I do. Olympic National Park looks breathtaking. The wet forest, the moss, the serenity of it all. Ugh, I can't wait.
We just celebrated Olivia's Birthday. That's the picture on the header of this post. David, Olivia, and I went to Walmart, Lowes, Target, and Burger Craft for her Birthday. We left Sunday morning (yeah, it was an early celebration) and arrived at Mom's house to wish Olivia a happy Birthday. As always we didn't want to go, drug our feet the whole drive over, but once we got there we were happy and didn't want to leave.
We took Olivia to Burger Craft. I couldn't think of where else to take her and she's about as indecisive, if not moreso, than I am. She seemed to love it. We then went to Walmart to swap out her battery, and then to Lowes to see the Halloween decorations. Afterwards he headed to Target to...fuck I can't remember. Probably Starbucks? I'm gonna go with Starbucks.
Anyways, it was an awesome day. We got back to Moms house and ate dinner and she opened our presents to her. We got her a kettle, kitten mug, and tea sampler box. She seemed to enjoy the gifts.
Essentially that's been the only thing of interest to happen. Next Tuesday I fly out to California. I don't know why but I'm actually looking forward to this trip. I think it's because I'm staying at MY hotel and renting MY car.
I haven't posted a song on my blog in a little while. This has been a rough year in music. I haven't found anything life changing yet, but best believe I'll post it when I do.
