Come Out with Pride: 2019

So today was my Birthday. What an amazing Birthday! Today just so happened to also be Come Out with Pride Orlando, the city's LGBTQIA+ celebration. Originally the plan was to go to the event and leave immediately after the parade. We ended up going with a couple of David's work friends and stayed for the fireworks. 

Let me tell you, Bravo Orlando on the fantastic fireworks. I wasn't expecting such an amazing display, but they really went all out and put on a damn show, including a trail of fireworks laying atop the lake, rainbow fireworks, hearts, etc. I believe it also may have been synced up with music, however we were on the side of the lake that didn't have speakers so we couldn't really hear the music. 

Come Out with Pride is always such a fun event to attend. It's one of very few times where we feel we can safely hold hands in public. So we take advantage of the sudden sense of security and hold hands and hug during the event. 

This had to have been one of the best Birthday's I've had in a long long time. In the video you'll see me sitting here and there. I had new shoes that were fucking killing my feet. I wore high top ADIDAS but no-show socks so yeah, come late afternoon I had blisters upon blisters. 

I can't wait for next year's Come Out with Pride Orlando. This is quickly becoming my favorite day of the year.
