It's so weird to think that in about a month and a half we're going to have Archer in this world. It's also weird to think that his name is going to be Archer. Still not sure how down for that name I am. Especially considering her first choice was going to be Lucifer. Oh my god, how amazing would it be to call little dude Luce. My little light.
We had the baby shower at Mom's house. Hanna had come down with Molly for the baby shower, and I was excited because the stars aligned and Angela let me bring Emily to Mom's house so Emily and Molly could play.
David and I stopped at Target before coming over to pick up a baby shower gift and some slime for Molly since her birthday is in a few days. I would soon find out how big of a foolish mistake that would be. We got Olivia this super cute baby rocker. I know she's going to love having Archer in it.
Kyle was there at the party dressed in a ridiculous apron, and Olivia was glowing the whole day.
Kyle's family was there, which was interesting. I wasn't sure what meeting his family would be like, but they seem like great people. I had fun poking fun at one of his sisters that was straight up destroying me in the "don't-say-baby" game.
The children absolutely wrecked the outdoor table with the slime gift. There was sparkles, and glue, and questionable viscous content everywhere. After they were done destroying the outdoor furniture they swam in the pool. It was so awesome watching Molly and Emily together. Like two worlds combining.
I can't get over how well Mom did putting the thing together and how amazing her decorations were.
This party definitely made me excited for the little guy. I can't wait for him to meet his Uncle Daddy Mikel. Haha
