Hanna came to Florida for a week!
We met up at Downtown Disney, er Disney Springs as it's now called. It was a nice chilly grey day and was misty outside. A detail I normally wouldn't fill the need to add in, but it did add to the atmosphere and made for a gorgeous day. We went to the Coca-Cola rooftop bar and tried a combo tray. It's basically just a sampler of sodas from around the world with a few floats.
After which we went to Gideon's Bakehouse and got some cookies and a peanut butter cold brew coffee. I've seen so many TikTok video's about Gideon's that I was so excited to try their cookies. Out of all of the flavours I loved the peanut butter cookies the most.
The next day we went to Lake Eola to chill at the park. It was so relaxing. Hanna brought a blanket that we all laid on with the babies and just chillaxed for an hour or so. It honestly had me thinking that I would love to do that with David sometime. Just bring a blanket and lay it out on the grass by the pond and relax.
It was so nice having Hanna back home in Florida. It hurts my heart because I'd love to convince her to stay so she doesn't have to be so far, and so I don't have to miss seeing my nieces grow up, but I know that she's happy where she's at and doesn't like Florida. I respect that. I just have to patiently wait and look forward to the next time all of us siblings get to hang out again, wherever that might be.
