Our Little Easter

Happy Easter!

Today we celebrated Easter. Olivia came by our place with Kyle and Archer. She made some Eggarooda, a family holiday traditional dish that's essentially bacon gravy on toast, and then prepared snacks.

It felt so weird not having Easter at Mom's house but she's fallen out of doing holidays now. Part of me thinks we should keep forcing her to partake in the holiday's as I know there's some part of her that appreciates it, but another part of me is hoping that by not going to her house to celebrate it that she'll come back around to wanting to celebrate. It hasn't worked yet.

Olivia stepped up though and prepared all of the Easter cooking by herself. She even made Easter dinner which was Mac n' Cheese and ham.

We played some games together, hung out, and had a great time. I don't think I can ever properly convey just how appreciative I am to have my little sister. Unfortunately I'm just not a cook. Between David and I, our diet doesn't really call for much cooking outside of the occasional box Kraft. It's an honest godsend to have Olivia keeping the holidays going for us.
