Christmas Mourning

 

If you were to ask me what my favorite day of the year is I would tell you that it is Christmas Eve. My least favorite day? Christmas day. Especially when David works. 

Christmas Eve has all of the magic of the Christmas season... Hell, it has all of the magic of the year condensed into a single day. Christmas day, after around 10AM is just letdown. It's when you realize it's all over. With the exception of the calendar year advancing, there's nothing to look forward too for a few months. It's just back to the regular grind of existence.
